Ancho chilli powder is made from grinding whole Anchos, seeds and pod both. Ancho powder is pure to provide an authentic flavour. Grown in Mexico, Anchos are common to Mexican and South-western cooking. Anchos have a mild, sweet, fruity flavour. Dried Ancho has a dark, brick red to mahogany colour. Packed in 50 ml volume flat bottomed test tubes with product weight of approximately 24 g for flakes and 33 g for powders. Packed by volume and settling may occur.
